I know for a 100% fact, that My boys over at Auto Fashion installed a After market wood grain shifter on a first Gen! But i dont know the brand but i saw it my self in person! Call them!

Did anyone ever find out if the ones from l-tunedparts will fit? They have two shifters and even a TRD Steering wheel that I wouldn't mine purchasing if they will actually fit. They can't be like the shifters in the picture though. Ours is fat and ugly and theirs is skinny and sexy. It's just like internet dating all over again...

Come on people. I know someone has to have changed this thing out already. It's hideous. Seriously, how often do you look at it and just want to rip it out?! I don't even want to touch it when you get in the car. I just want to kick it!
Anyhow, any help would be greatly appreciated.

HAHAHAH! iNS0MNiAC to the rescue. I did a huge write up on the shifter exchange and also showed a very nice OEM wooden shifter you can use. Here's the link to my write up http://www.luxuryjcars.com/forums/in...showtopic=1048
