to you guys driving in snow
#31
I had the same problem - getting stuck in the snow, holding up traffic etc. This year I bought my first set of snow tires- Firestone Winterforce 215 60 series, what an awesome tire! Very smooth on the road and they stick to ice and cut thru deep snow. My car now drives thru the snow like a SUV. I don't get stuck at all. Got em at Tire Rack. Really- snow tires! - you can't go wrong!

my car puts down just under 300whp with my exhaust cutout closed and boost control turned off. slighly higher if i turn it for 14psi.
i have driven the car for 2 winters now, and have only been stuck once, cause i was a dumbass and decided to turn around in the middle of the street instead of driving the 200 meters to the cleared road ahead to turn around.
this year i bought winter tires, and altho nothings going to help you when it's blowing snow and -30 C without a windchill, they help a great deal.
i haven't had any problems, i'd rather be driving my aristo in the winter than either of my 89/90 MX6 NA/turbo i used to drive a few years ago, and even my 2001 jetta 1.8T
