well yesterday i was cleaning the car and decided to clean the engine so i spray the engine with cleaner and rinse it of like i do with my other cars. today it started running like crap. it accels a little slow and motor shakes when i accel. i checked dizzy and check spark, works. it kinda sound like a exh leak sometimes. once you take it past 45mph your can tell it has a prob.

more then likely you shot some water on your plugs, take your cam cover off and see how much water you got down there, you should be able to see the first to plugs. --MIC.

yah i checked it out. diddnt look wet. i guess i could take the plugs out and check them out. i drove the car prob 5 miles last night.

i just checked and the last hole for the spark plugs was filled with water. hopefully that was the prob. letting it dry now.

If you give it a good run on the freeway it will work better once it heats up. I did that to mine, expecting it to run like crap. I drove it back to base here in Vegas from California and it was running like normal. Just have to get it hot enough, for long enough to dry out the water in the "tricky" places.

Any water down in those plug holes will cause the spark to arc off to the head and cause a dead miss in turn making your car run like ****. Best thing to do when you clean the motor is to either cover the vally really well or avoid washing it at all.
