Default What coilovers are YOU running? Which drop the lowest?

Right now I'm running HKS hipermax LS+'s on my 94 GS.. I might sell them to my homie.. so I am looking around for new coilovers.

What kind of coilovers are you guys running? And how does it feel? Hows the stiffness if they are damper adjustable?

And which coilovers out there drop the lowest? (if you're going to tell me to get bags.. i already thought about it.. but i just love coilover set ups)

JIC...My drop is about 3.5 inches and rides great but I am running 20's in front with 30 series tires and it's rough at times. With 35 series in the back its perfect.

Yes the VIP FLT-A2's. The fenders are rolled. I had a 1st gen LS400 and cut out the inner fender lips...I think that I would rather do that than roll a fender. I guess it all depends on your set up. I really like the JIC's I just need to get some 225/35/20 for my front rims and it will be perfect.

BTW...there were some on ebay for $850 which is a steal when they are $2000 new. How about Universal Air?

What did you do about the wiring harness and that peice of metal near the harness. I went to low and was rubbing the harness so I adjusted it up but I want to lower it another inch.

Very nice...So I am guessing that the metal strip that is close by is no threat to your tire(s)?
BTW, how did you drill the hole for the suspension?

I'm running Tein CS and I don't think Teins can go as low as JIC's.

i had cut mines. and notice even parked, the knuckle is coming
thru the metal(PARKED!!!!) so that will be your lowering limit

i can probably lower my car another 1" or so on my jic af2 coilovers
Thats cool, I was wondering how the car was so effin low. I have mine almost on the ground on 18's and my ball joint has about 1" of travel before it bottoms out. I was contemplating cutting a hole like you did and then welding a plate over the top up higher to keep the rigidity.

Im on Tein Flex's. I like them because you can lower the strut into the body of the shock, not changing the ride. I do also have the EDFC though. I have to ride around on the medium setting so I dont bottom out everywhere. I love the ride though.

Is it AF2 discontinued? I couldn't find any results for that except this thread on google. or is it the FLT-A2 VIP?
