anybody have any insight on modifying the Tanabe DF210 Springs as in cutting a little off or heating them up to compress them more?

I think with more aggressive offsets the 147 would look killer with
a 1.8" drop like the Tanabes offer. My bro's 147 has nice aggressive
20x9.0 and 20x10.5 wheels with Eibachs (1.25" drop) and it needs to
go down another .5"
The Tanabes would be perfect.
Any lower than 1.8" and the 147 basically runs out of front suspension travel.
Negative camber becomes a major issue, too.
