Default Installing Double Din

just a quick question, I am going to install my double din soon and I was wondering if we need an amp integration harness for our cars?

are you guys talking about the dash kit or the harness?

the dash kit is $20 ish, and available at installer.com

From what I've seen there isn't an available harness, you'd have to do it yourself.

AWW MAN!.... now ya show me this. i had to rewire the whole car to get sound out of all 4door from my new headunit. and for our gen Gs i coudnt find no aftermarket kit for a double-din. i had to drill extra hole in the factory bracket so the HU could stay in place and cut out plexigalss for the surrounding faceplate. took me half of day to do all that.

side note: i not currently runnin the sub. im still lookin for a 5ch amp and a good aftermarket 10" sub that dont require a box. as soon i find those 2, the components on all 4doors will be replace.

I'm running a touchscreen double din headunit with the stock components, a 5channel JL 500/5 and a free air 12" JL IB4 in the stock space. Its a good setup

Thanks Lexatlast. Can anyone give info as to what type of sub would be good for a stock replacement? How many ohm's? And What is a good RMS?
I am sure we don't need anything that handles major power, right?
