Exclamation I wanna buy a GS300...FEED BACK NEEDED !!

Hey All,

Ive seen a 1996 GS300 that i wanna buy, First of all...Whats the common problems and things that i should look out for when i back go to look at it in detail ??

I tried looking for threads to help me, but no joy.... Also your help and feedback would be grateful in aiding me towards a purchase on this 'GREAT' car !!

As far as I know the most common problems in the first gen are cupholders that don't work, window moldings that tend to get loose and can cause some slight wind noise in the cabin at higher speeds. And usually if it's a higher mileage one, the 02 sensors are pretty much the source of a CEL (check engine light) coming on. Oh, that is considering that the car has been well maintained and everything else seems to be in tip top shape. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else.

Give this thread some time and I'm sure some of our other members will be happy to chime in.

Thanks Seize, for that info there....Im gonna look at it one day this week...I'll let you guys know the history on the car history plus pictures !!

Also check the front end ball joints and stuff might be on their way out

are you nuts???

you live in England.. next to japan,Austrailia and New zealand(and canada)..its one of the few places you can get a toyota aristo..(gs300 with ballz)

go get an aristo instead(i got mine in the UK as well)
