Default Stock aristo fuel system?

Anyone know what it's good for... I seem to be maxing mine out but I don't think i'm over 360 WHP.

I'm only running 17 PSI, with a full exhaust, and intake. No matter how much fuel I add with my emanage it just does not want to richen up. getting around 12.8 up top and I would like it in the 11.5's area.

I think fuel pressure will help it but does anyone know if the stock pump is the same as the mk4 pump?

It's your map sensor that is pegged. What do you have the voltage clamped at? This is the very reason I took out my AFC and sold it.

I have it clamped at 4.26 volts then i use the emanage to use the additional injection map to add fuel via changing duration instead of signal.

that's also maxed... I'll try fuel pressure first and if that fails then I'll do a walbro intank.

Well I have USDM 550's from my 1jz swap on my supra hahah i love having parts sitting around.

Is the stock pump the same as the mk4 pump? If so I don't see it maxing out any time soon.
Only problem is finding the resistor.

walbro pump gs342 ..its a 255lph pump.

.. the 342 is capable of higher pressures..the stock fpr will handle it without any over run.

you can also get a aftermarket afpr (like a aeromotive) and bump the base fuel pressure up by like 2 or 3 psi and go from there.

I remember Ian C on Supra forums saying that the JDM maps could be clamped at 4.4 before boost cut and this also forced the injectors into full open. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm clamped at 4.28.

if I clamp any higher it hits FCO.
4.28 may work but 4.3 def hits FCO.

Yeah I know aobut the pumps and the FPR.. I have them on my supra... Just didn't want to go that far in terms of modifications on my DD.

We'll see how far I go... Right now it's fast enough the biggest thing I need to do is modfiy my spare trans so that it's shimed to shift faster. Horrible for 1-2 shifts right nwo.

I can relate to the 1-2 shift. Too much gas and you get the machine gun effect. Feather the gas at high rpms and it just hangs for 2 seconds and then shifts.

you probably just dont hear it thru the stock exh. the machine gun effect is actually timing retard by the ecu on the upshift to not shock the tranny... possibly some slip too, but there is definitely timning retard happening.
