Check to see if your cables are loose or corroded!
if not
charge your battery.....
if it doesnt work, get a volt/Ohm meter and see what power level the battery is at.
If it is around 12, then most likely it is your alternator or starter.
If it clicks and wont turn most likely your starter
if it turns slow then most likely it is your alternator.
Good luck if it is none of the above

I lost power after being stuck in traffic for about 2-3 hours this winter with the FR & R defoggers/heat and music running. ![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
It turned out to be the altenator...If I were you I would investigate the battery and the alternator just to be sure...it can't hurt.

thats what kinda happen to me...
i bought my Gs summer of last year. added HIDs right away and always drive with it on, no matter what time of day it is. in the summertime use the Ac with the fan on level 2 or higher. when drivin its fine when the brakes are step on at a red light or in traffic my music would slowly die down then the battery light would come on, but when i give it gas and go everthing is back to normal. thought it was a bad alternator and one of the taillight was out too, so i changed them and the battery. in the fall season, it wasnt too hot or cold. so everything was working perfectly. winter comes around when i had to use the heater and rear defroster all that problem would come back. even one of the taillight goin out, but only when i used the brakes(weird). so the alternator battery and bulb was change again. months later, they was change again for the same reason. i was thinkin there was a short somewhere. but i was lazy and it was cold out to figure what the problem was. but when i got a new aftermarket headunit i wasnt lazy to install that. i had to rewired the whole car because i didnt know how to use the factory amp to the new HU, so i trash the factory amp. after all that bein done, i put in a dvd and went for a drive to test it out. was out drivin for like an hour finally got home, sat in the driveway to finish the movie. then i realize i didnt see any of the problem when i was out drivin, so turn up the heat, turn up the volume, turn on the rear defroster and step on the brakes for like 5mins. everything was fine, no problems at all.
i found out the hard way that it was a bad amp.
went thru 3alternator, 5 taillight bulb and 3 battery exchange.
:sorry for the long story but you get the idea.
