I cant find the thread that tells why the 2nd gen gs strut tower bar doesnt fit the 1st gen. I was lookin at my wifes car last night and it looks very similar and the measurements apear to be the same.
Help me find the thread please.

iirc the width is a little off cause the top mount is the same size

Yusef tried installing the TRD STB on his ride, i think he said that it was too long. so im guessing an adjustable STB would work

Yea I have the 2gs front pillowmounts on my 1gs and from examining the car yesterday they are the same orientation. The center to center of the strut towers are a little hard to measure but looked to be within 1/2" of eachother if not right on, but thats just by eye.

I really like that 2gs tein bar. Would sure look good with the edfc and flex that are up there Maybe Ill have to make one...

hey, yea i bought a TRD 2nd gen strut bar and the holes and everything were completely off, we tried everything and it wouldnt fit. we lifted the car up, we lifted only one side up, but its impossible.

an adjustable one i think would work for sure, but not the regular TRD one, hope that helps.
