Default I guess were not so heavy!

I was talking to a few guys at the Subaru meet at life plaza (Diamond Bar) , they had the new STI hatch, I asked them how much they weighed and apparently our cars are about 300 heavier only..they said the Sti is roughly 3300lbs while the gs is 3600, So I guess were not that bad!

300 pounds is a bit heavy, granted, there are plenty of heavier cars.

Also If we turbo our inline sixes and drop 300 pounds, we have more then a comparison, We can **** rape them with a 2jz-gte, even with a single supra turbo upgrade im pretty sure we can.
I talked to alota the STI guys, my best friend drives an STI, lol I guess some of them knew about the engines in our cars, Apparently someone with a 2jz-GTE went to their forums and talked some ****.

That's good to know that our first generation GS aren't as heavy as I thought it was and I didn't know the Supra was heavier than the GS. I have a good buddy of mine who's got a 1994 twin turbo Supra. What an awesome car the Supra is...

Remember he was talking about a MK3 Supra 87-92, not MKIV 93-98.

Thanks for clarifying. My same buddy who has the 1994 Supra previously owned a MK3 Supra. He's a big Supra fan. We used to go to Supras Invade Las Vegas every summer but he moved to northern California and he's way too busy now...

well the supra is supposed to be 3500-3700 LBS the mk3. I just had some extra weight in the car like speaker box, but last i put my supra on the scales it was around the same as my gs slightly heavier.

It's a pig and a half i'll have to see how it does now that i dropped AC and a bunch of stuff... remember though it's ttarga so it has extra metal.
