whats your definition of the "best" offset?
but i'll try and help you out.my current offset on my wheels are:
Front:19x8 +6

Rear:19x9 +13

im using air suspension and thats all the way down.with those offset you mentioned, the front wheels will retract 5mm's inward.and the rear wheels will extend 5mm's outward.to come to this conclusion i was using the wheel offset calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
the rear fenders will need to be rolled slightly and the fronts should be fine.
as for flushness at a driveable ride height, they seem to be kinda flush

hope this helped.

do you have a camber kit on your ride? the front wheels seems to be straight when not slammed. nice stance......

+35mm with 18x10 and I barely rub the inside of the fenders in the rear.

Hey Kaiser, I was gonna go for 18x8 temporarily with a +40 offset in the front and the back. Do you know what size spacers I would need for the front and the back to make it flush or near-flush?

Or if anyone knows, that would be awesome. I'm terrible with wheels fitments

Buy my wheels. Custom made just for my former '93 GS300. F:19x9 +36 / F:19x10 +23. Both low disc for maximum lip! You will definitely need to mod your fenders for this fitment.

19x8.5 +38/19x9.5 +38.... No rubbing whatsoever, although im not slammed like a majority of members, just a "1-finger" gap
