So this weekend I replaced my rear struts and now I'm getting this awful banging noise when I drive over the slightest bit of un-smooth pavement. It's LOUD and like a banging, rattling, vibrating. The noise sounds like it's coming from both sides in the back. It sounds like something is loose but I have no idea what it is. I was thinking maybe worn out bushings?

I'm open to suggestion if anyone has encountered similar trouble and I would greatly appreciate not having to have some shop look at it. Thanks.

 

check your mount bolts and the strut nut to the mount. make sure they are tight.
