USDM, 1994, Dark Blue Metallic, no sunroof (no trac, no heated seats, no bells, no whistles).

No offense, but a Lexus without a moonroof is no Lexus , but then again that's just me. I'm a kind of guy that want everything, fully loaded. Eventhough I hardly ever use it, but it's make the car much more luxurious. Once again, this is just my personal opinion. Same with my Supra, it have the sport roof and most Supra community like the hardtop because it's lighter and stiffer but I don't like it. I like the sport roof more regardless of lighter or the rarity of the hardtop.

Default observations....

These seem to be rare.

I think I've even seen some pictures with manual windows. Any one seen or have pic's of 1st gens with manual windows? USDM/JDM or UK versions?

These would be great chassis to mod for racing. Should be stiffer chassis and perhaps will shave some weight.

I'm searching to see if Lexus/Toyota has detailed records of the number of 1st gens in different options and colors and number made per built year.

Its hard to understand why the 1st gens parts remain as expensive as they are and many parts unique to the JZS147 model .

I'd love to get a hold of a JDM RHD with the all wheel drive and V-8! These are so rare and seemed to be the test version as today the 3rd generation come with an all wheel drive.

Additionally, it seems the auto industry has/is overlooking the 1st gen design to have made some impact to automotive designs. Look at many of the cars today and their shapes, there's so many that resemble each manfacturer and you can see lines of the 1st gens in many of todays cars.

I hope the 1st gen receives similar acknowlegement like some of the cars of the past that have made significant impact to the world of automotive design.

Heh, I thought CE stand for "classic edition", but since you're on track, maybe CE stand for " crappy edition".

I don't think Lexus offer manual windows. All Lexus come standard fully power, A.B.S. and alloy wheels.
As for the V8 1st Gen GS with all wheel drive, I think it's offer for a short time in certain market like Russia.
One last thing I remember seeing a 1st Gen GS station wagon way way back in burgundy. Talking about rare and I don't think it was a conversion either.

Wow, that would be pretty cool to have. On a side note, did anyone see the thread on the AWD SC300 getting built? Looks pretty serious
