Smile Hi, I am new and here to stay!!!!!

Hello fellow gs300 owners.

I became more interested in cars ever since i was little, i hope i learn many things for everyone here in the forums

Here's a picture of my baby!
sorry for the awful picture, i took it with my phone.
More pictures will come!

the color of my car is beige metallic with chrome OEM wheels. This car looks sick after a wash!

Recently, i purchased an used driverside foglight because someone tried to steal and it fall out with driving It looks nice now but it doesn't have the gray plastic cover. and about 5k ago, the shocks were replaced with KYB-GR2 series shocks, along, with brand new Yokohama Avid tires and alignment since it had 100k miles on the car. The ride is a lot better now. I have more plans to fix up this car. Recently, I read an article from HH and they had a white gs300, VIP style. This car was sick! Since that, I want to turn my car into VIP. First thing, I am probably going to do is get HID for the both the low beams and foglights. White 5000k for the low, and yellow 3000k for the foglights to give it the JDM look. Good decision? My friend refered to go to http://www.therpmstore.com/product_i...products_id=38 to get the HID. Is this place any good?
After this HID....lets see what happens

Welcome, clean GS

Our buddy Cliffud is currently running a GB on HIDs, I highly recommend him. I got a set from him and I am really happy, as many other members are too.

Also, that sucks that they tried to steal your fog lights, you should get some tamper proof screws or some hex screws .

Wow! These HIDs are expensive! I dont know....i dont think im going to spend that much on HIDs

Anyways, that is smart to get tamper proof screws. where would i get these screws? Home Depot? any where else? and will it fit on the first gen gs? cuz the thread you sent was for the second gen of gs.

Regularly the HIDs are 250, but you have a chance to get them at 170. You won't have any worries buying from him and you get all the help and support you need . Just sharing my experience and letting you know since you were interested in purchasing HIDs.

As for the tamper or hex screws, just remove one of the stock ones and go to an ace hardware, lowes. hd etc and just match them up. I went to an ace hardware and found some no problem. Just make sure you get a hex key.

Good luck .

Welcome, as a new owner myself, it's good to see the 1st Gen family expand.

More traffic/enthusiasts = more parts available!

Congrats, and welcome. I'm fairly new myself. It's a great site. Your cashmere metallic paint looks great. I have essentially the same identical car.
