You may want to check www.l-tunedparts.com for the 1st Gen GS300 interior parts. There are two different type of shift ***** made for our car, but I'm not sure if they are direct replacement. What I mean is on our OEM ****, we have to push the little "button" on the side of the **** to shift into gear. I don't see any thing on these two aftermarket shift *****. But you can ask the service rep just to make sure. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

On my Aristo I swapped out the push button shifter with the gate shifter assembly from a UCF20 Celsior (LS400). It took about a full day to install it but it was so worth it. I did a write up on it here http://www.luxuryjcars.com/forums/in...opic=1048&hl=#

But if you don't have the money, skill, patience or knowhow of installing the gate shifter, this was my second option. This is a shifter from a 1998 Toyota Landcruiser this is the JDM model of course. But they should have the same one here. It might be labeled under the LX450/470 but front the looks of it it doesn't look like it would be too hard to install.

Hey Insomniac, do you know if the landcruiser's shift **** is a direct swap with our stock ones? I would doubt it right? Since the wire coming out of the **** is for the O/D button , but in our ***** the wire comes from the base of the shift console and not from the ****. That **** would look good thoo! If you Mod it let me know plz

Its probably not a direct swap, but I would imagine it would be much easier to install than the gate shifter But there is no way I'd trade my gate shifter for the Landcruiser one :P
