Default TRAC light

Hello,

1993 Lexus GS300. I'm having a problem where the TRAC light comes on during the first start of the day. This happens maybe 2 times a wk or so. When the light comes on, the car hesitates off stop lights. To make the light go away, I simply re-start the car....and the light does not come back on for another few days or so. As mentioned before, the problem only seems to happen when i first drive the car in the morning.....and again, its only happening maybe 1 or 2 times a week.

Any thoughts on what could be causing the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you check your tire pressure.
I ask because mine will do the same thing (1993 GS300) and it stays off when my tire pressure is the same all the way around.

It's free. Jumper the diagnostic port and count the blinks.

Just some input to consider.... I recently had a similar problem, trac light would come on when I hit about 35 mph and I could hear a noise like a pump trying to engage. Ended up having to replace the ABS accumulator unit (will also need 1 other piece and some O-rings). Alot of these TRAC issue threads go with no follow up but I've seen one other member who had the exact same symptoms/repair......but it could be other things too.
