19" Volk SF Challenger & JDM Headlights

Not really. It depend on how you set your coilover. I did not slam mine due to this is still a family car with two baby seats in the back. I personally like 19" on 1st Gen GS because I used to have 17" and 18" and both look small on the GS. I think 19" fill the fenders well perfectly. As for 20" look overkill and make it make like a DUB.

I got it for $600 for the full set, but end up $650 because he found out it was too low, but have to honored it. What he did was asked me to give him $50 more since he have to drive from Northern California down here in City of Industry. Just think of $50 for shipping I was lucky, because it came of a 98 Supra Turbo with low miles. I've seen people selling the front only for about the same, but not even close to this condition.

Thanks. I was hesitant with these wheels but it turn out pretty good. I think the challenge is more suitable for sport coupe, not 4 doors sedan, especially in gunmetal. After putting these on, I'm very happy, especially with the Supra TT brake system. I was on the verge of putting it on my Supra, but I love the 18" Blitz Type 03 it have on right now.
Just a long shot, I was wondering if you still have the JDM strut bar? Let me know if you still have it. I definitely need it now with all these mods. It kinda scary if you remembered while back. I turned your offer on your strut bar you had for sale because it was for my wife. Slowly over a year, I have coilovers, JDM Headlighs, Taillights, two set of wheels (L-Tuned 18" Salinas, now 19" Volks Racing SF Challenge), and Complete MKIV Supra TT brake system. I don't know what's next, but I'm so tempted with the 2JZ-GTE swap. That won't be something way down the line( it's like Toyota bringing the Supra back)

Your car has a nice supra feel to it and the rims really set it off.
I sold the strutbar a few weeks after I offered it to you.

Car looks great. I especially like how it sits. The 1GS is still the prettiest of all the GS generations.
Maybe it's just me, but 19s look small on the first-gen!
Perhaps it's due to the shorter tires?

I agree with you about the 1st GS is the prettiest that's why I owned a 93, gave it to my younger brother and decided to buy another 95. I think 19" look the best on the 1st GS because I used to have 2nd GS 17" and 18" L-Tuned wheels, and both seem to be small for the 1st GS. I've seen couples 1st GS with 20" and I personally don't like how it look. I guess the reason this 19" look small due to being deep dish and the wheels color is gunmetal. If it was silver or lighter color I think it will look bigger. Look at the last picture, if you try to focus on the outer lips of the wheels only instead of the 5 spokes in gunmetal, the wheels fit the fenders wells pretty nicely. As for the tires, F: 235/35/19 and R:265/30/19. I think that is the right set up since the F: 19x8.5 and R:19x9.5. Last but not lease, if the car was lowered a little more, it will definitely make the wheels look bigger also.
