Default FITMENT: Can 19x9.5's Fit in the fronts??

Whattup all?? I planning on getting some rims for my 1st gen GS. I was wondering if I can fit 19x9.5's in the fronts and possibly 20x10's in the rears. Does anyone have this setup?? I'm wondering what staggered 19's and 20's looks like on a 1st gen. POST PICS...anyone??

Sorry Guys!!! OK, here's the exact fitment of the wheels I'm planning on buying.

FRONT: 19x9.5 (38mm offset)
REAR: 20X10 (25mm offset)

I'm hoping this will work...MEMBERS CHIME IN

oooooh...NICE!!! I just might have to do this. So help me understand: You have 19x9.5's in the front w/ 24mm offset. The rims I want have 38mm offset. Does that mean that the rims I want will stick out more than your current rims?? You're already cutting it close to the wheel wells...I'm worried mine will pop out too far.

First of Vipguy, your GS look pimpin. Secondly, what do you mean when you corrected your camber? I like how your front is really lowered but the wheels sit flat on the ground. What did you have to do in order to have that look. This will help that uneven tires wear from the inside. Thanks
Oh, one last thing, I like your JDM front bumper also.

OH SNAP!!! OK, that makes me feel a LOT better about my decision. OK, so now that I know the fronts and rears will fit. Does anyone have pics of a first gen GS w/ 19' in the fronts and 20's in the rears?? i know my boy had done 17's & 18's on his 240, and it had a really nice look. Will this look stupid on a first gen??

i'm running 18 X 9.5 (+31mm offset) in the front and they fit no problem at all. with 19's you just might have to stretch the rubber a bit more than mine are, so no problem there. you should be fine

Thanks for all the help everyone. I'm going to scope out the wheels in person tomorrow. Still contemplating whether I should go 19x9.5 & 20x10. I haven't seen pics of this yet on a 1st gen. I might just go 19x8.5 & 19.9.5 in the rears. anyone have pics of 19/20's??

yeah i've seen his. i think it's a silver GS right?? i didn't really like the big difference from 18's to 20's. that's why i was questioning 19's and 20's. someone on here has to have 19's & 20's. chime in peeeps...

i have 20x8.5 front and 20x10.5 in the rear... i have a slight rub on the inside of my front fenderwell when i turn about 75%...but its not that bad... i jus figure that ill take a heat gun, heat the plastic and try to bend it outward a lil bit to give me the clearance i need. by the way my wheels fit nearly flush with my wheel wells

Dang 22's on a 1st gen?? i'm not sure if i've seen that. i think that's too "baller" for me. I might just stick with the 19's/20's setup...possibly just go 19's all the way around.

STILL HOPING SOMEONE ON HERE HAS PICS OF THE 19/20'S SETUP. Someone please post pics.
