WOOO so the guys at the shop finally found the problem and fixed it, the basic swap is done, now just waiting for them to hook up boost controller, turbo timer, intake, exhaust, and fmic.

video is choppy but sound comes out clear, kinda. the first engine you hear isnt mine, its a Porsche in the backround

What was the problem?

 

haha yea it sounds crazy without exhaust.

the problem was some wires that were not grounding properly and loose connectors going to the ecu.

 

wow... always the little things.

i love the GTE with no exhaust, i daily drive mine with the cutout open, except it sounds a bit meaner than yours, since it's got the first cat delete, and the exhaust exits via a 3" diameter pipe 13" from the engine

So the shop ordered the exhaust, intake and fmic.

We chose the HKS exhaust, anyone have one or know how it sounds? They said it was going to be loud, but i want to know exactly how loud.

the hks does have a nice note, hard to explain it.
