you can do a 2jzgte and tranny for under 2k IF you find the right buy, and.. get dirty and do it yourself.

Default realistic....

budget $7000-$9000. this is realistic.

2jzgte you will beed to lengthen wiring,

there will be some pin out mods

you have to modifiy the fire wall on the hot side as the rear turbo will back into the firewall

depending on the tranny, you'll need a drive shaft. getting teh rubber flanges and bolt pattern right the first time is what you pray for. there were different types and also depending on tranny the driveshaft may be too long or two short.

motor mounts will likely need to be replaced. the lexus version is rubber, toyota supras from the MKIII and through 93.5 MKIV had different types. If you think the Toyota TRD will work, you'll need to pay attention to the height of the motor when munted and make sure the hood can be closed. also, the drive line alignment is also another factor.

you'll need some gauges to make sure you can see the most important information can be quickly seen. i;e fule pressure, boost, oil. exhaust temps. the labor too. the wiring too. and how you mount it.

the, fluid refresh. and there's plenty more small details that required "labor time.

5K 6k is realistic if you DIY it. look into a NA-T conversion. you could go hog wild here too and have runaway costs

does everyon know that others have used the ge heads and have installed 256. 264, 272 and 280 cams from hks, or brian crower? the bigger cams, you go with will mean head work, plus other componets to support the abuse of the cams. thie head work mods along itself is going to be 1800-2000

and theres more!! hope this helps.

i own a shop and for a fact even cutting all corners and making the swap look like **** (just slapping things in with the ****tiest motor) 5speed using a w58 will still be little over 5k

fun car with potential out of the box with very little mods to make fast? forget the SC...just get an evo9 and call it a day. intake box, full exhaust with turbo outlet elbow, cams, tune, and fp green and youre at 460whp at least with less weight and more fun.

i got hooked on evos since i had one for a while or so while doing miscellaneous work. after doing side jobs on evos for a while im thinking of selling my car and getting one in spring once i graduate from college

supra and SC are straight line cars. too much money to make them trully fun the turns. evo need minor mods to make it fun.

as far as the SC. get a 1jz for cheap and make a 1.5jz out of two. better torque and response with very little cost...that is if you do it yourself

jsut go with the auto tranny, and you can buy all of it out of the aristo.

will be more of a bolt in.

once everythings out, you can make sure the turbo's are fine, or whatever you want to do there, install a boost controller etc.

then the trranny just stick with auto, and while it's out, install a shift kit, and a cooler, and you'll be fine with it being auto, the shift kick will give you a jolt with the shifts

then, do a aftermarket cam, that'll add 20-30whp, and do intake and exhaust cams, and you'll be sitting wi th atleast 30whp over me.

and then add a FMIC, and a exhaust cutout instead of exhaust system, and you'll be sitting at your 350hp mark

i only have the following done:
drop in air filter
exhaust cutout
FMIC
boost controller(altho it was off during the dyno)
and the turbos switched to parallel instead of sequential,

and i hit 328 RWHP.

so with cams and upping hte boost, and fuel pump, and colder plugs, you'll see your 350whp mark on stock twins i'm sure.
