Has anyone been able to get a truck without the wrap around tail lights? Basically what I'm looking for is a way to keep the tail lights the same just without the middle partition that connects both sides. Any help?

you mean trunk? And no, theres no way to get them without the center piece. Only options are masking painting the center piece to make it look like 2 seperate tail lights or completely remove the middle and do some welding, fill it in, but I dont think anyone will agree that last idea will look good...and you'll lose your key hole to the trunk unless you were to make room for it on the new piece of metal. But basically no, you stuck with what you got...JDM taillights are a little different but not much

You could always get the middle part tinted very black, I think A guy named Yusef on the forums had some for sale a lil while ago and had a picture, I also heard that the newer 1st gens dont have a center trunk piece, such as this one :

You could try attaching that trunk to ur gs

96-97 GS does not have the center piece, so maybe you can get a trunk lid from one of those cars. I personally like the 93-95 tails better, but to each his own.

haha yea i had some for sale but i traded those like a month ago.

but yea like he said the newer ones have that center piece but most people say it makes it look like a toyota avalon

Sorry i meant trunk. Thanks to all of you for the quick response. Those Avalon lights are not what I'm aiming for, I think I'll draw a picture of what I'm looking for and scan it, then post it here. Anyway, what I'm looking for a look where the actual light is separated from the whole wrap around deal. Similar to how a corvette's tail lights are or a Nissan GT-R, just lights and body, no wrap around or casing.I like how the lights are right now, I just want to eliminate the casing and wrap around deal. Anyone?

sounds like you need to do some custom work then as this car doesnt have alot of different options for tail lights
