you know, i think i've seen LED taillights for our cars before. i remember seeing pictures of them here on the forums. JDM LED tails, looked a little too much in my opinion, but everyone to their own.

there are JDM LED taillights avaiable for the JZS147 platform. although for the center garnish, and two outter sections, your looking upwards of 700 for the parts, before shipping from Japan, and all the broker fees, so upwards of $900 or more. but they are out there

Yeah...Crazy anxious to hear/see any progress that you've made on these. I know that you need to come up with the prototype first, but you got a list of 25+ 1st-Gen-GS'ers who are on the bandwagon on this one!! Don't forget about us (Since it seems as though there are very few manufacturers that have aftermarket parts for our vehicles). Is the ETA for these mid to late Nov.? Assume right now were in the 'mid' part of that equation and would like to know how much farther away we are!!

i've seen them on yahoo japan, for around 70,000 YEN, plus shipping within japan, plus broker fees (since you have to live in japan to buy off yahoo japan), then shipping outside japan, then shipping to you after that. so your looking closer to 1000 USD for those tail lights

the price listed here is the price beforeany markup/profit from the company that imports them for you, then ships them to you wherever you live.

and what kind of update/progress has been going on with these lenses? i'll want mine by march or so at the latest, cause i'll be opening mine up to see if i can flip the projector around and to clear my turn signal

I have used Rinkya.com to buy off yahoo japan before and always receive my item , don't know anything about importmonster though.
