Arrow Tranmission Flush on 1st Gen

Hey guys, I have had my car 2 weeks now and I am planning on doing a full tune up and fluid change tomorrow. Someone suggested I get the ATF totally flushed out at a pep boys or somewhere but when I tried to find info about the process I see that certain cars cannot have this done without destroying the trans. Is this safe to get done on a '94 GS300? Is it even necessary?

Drain 3qts from the pan, fill and drive 6k miles. Repeat until fluid is clean. Don't flush.

take care. if your tranny has a lot of miles like mine did, a fluid change might not be the greatest idea. My tranny started slipping, and I had to add the Lucas Tranny Fix stuff. It's a bit better now, but still acts up once in a while.

The Lexus technicians recommend that you drain partially and refill with new trans fluid. They do not recommend a flush. I do mine at every other oil change, so roughly every every 8K miles.
