Will look like primer on a 1GS. I say no.

The flat black trend is so "2005" at this point.

Done-to-death!

If you're going to paint it, do something original: Black Cherry,
dark purple, dark brown, etc. Might as well do a body kit, too.

I agree that the murdered out look is out of date already. Plus, I don't think it would look very good on a 1GS.

not a fan of body kits on any car but possibly a simple lip kit

yeh, flat black to me will only look good if the car looks agressive.so i say no.
black cherry was my second choice when choosing a paint for my car.
i also wanted to do black with a blue ice pearl.now that was nice.
choosing a color is always hard, make the right choice.good luck man!

I personally think the whole flat black thing is better for exotic, or sports cars. IMO it always looks funny on big luxury sedans. The CLS "kinda" pulls it off, but its still sorta like "what happened to his Benz bro?"

I'm with Socal, a really nice non oem color. Maybe a dark dark red.

my car is fading on the tops so i got an idea of what the flat black thing looks like and it doesnt look too good.

i'd say black with some nice flake in it would look good
