the ECU does increse the rev limiter, and has a slightly different tune,
but keep it in mind as an option, cause they're usually around 4-500 shipped to you, and it's pretty much straight drop in,and the tune that's done to it, as well as fuel AND speed cut, and a rev limiter increase are worth it IMO,
are you running an Aristo ECU that's been swapped in already?

zazzn, pulling the TRC fuse does nothing but eliminate the traction control, i daily drive mine with the TRC fuse pulled, and have been for the past 4 months now, and i hit the 180km/hr speed cut all the time, that's a myth and I have seen it not work with my own two eyes.
to the original thread poster, jump onto www.clubaristo.net and join up, say hi, and then do some searching, there's lots of people on there that have delimited the GTE

So maybe you need the upgraded ECU and the trac fuse pulled before it works... I have a sard ecu and another upgraded (no name on it) and both will allow me.. I havn't tried with a stock ECU.
I've been over 180 KPH man times but because of snow and what not the trac is back on (and i really value ABS)
BTW I will sell my sard one for what I paid for it as I don't need 2 tuned ECU's
500$!

And I've confirmed it removes BOOST CUT, AND speed cut if you pull the trac fuse... I think there is 2 types of cut... #1 is injector speed cut, and #2 is the trac closes at 180 KPH as well.
So it sounds like you only have one left which is the ECU.....

what ECU's are you running? cause almost all the mines and Sard ones, have a speed cut built in, so you should be able to go past 180 km/hr with the TRAC fuse in or out on a tuned ECU

No they don't they require you pull the trac as well..
There are 2 speed cuts... One is the trac butterfly and the second is the fuel cut on the ecu.
If you read the aristo uk forums they have the same problems with theirs...
And yes I can go pass 180 KPH with my tuned ECU.
One is sard the other doesn't have a name on it... but it has all the stuff my sard has and let's me rev to 7200 instead of 6500... which is why i'm using that one right now.. I bought the sard thinking it would take away speed cut but after it dind't I started reading and found out I also have to pull the trac fuse or make a toggle switch.
I pulled the trac and all was good 250 KPH
