Default Getting past 120mph on gte?

So i know the aristo is limited to 120 mph, well so ive been told.

can someone explain this to me, is it the ecu telling the fuel to cut off?

and is there anyway to get past that besides getting an emanage? any cheaper way, or what exactly are my options?

because i keep hitting that 120mph lol and i wanna get past it but i dont want to spend 500 to do it, im currently broke after the motor swap.

Thanks.

I got the HKS in mine. Was gonna go with Greddy, just no one had it in stock when I really, really needed. Would have saved about $100 IIRC
If you got with an HKS type II, i have the diagram for you.

zazzn, pulling the TRC fuse does nothing but eliminate the traction control, i daily drive mine with the TRC fuse pulled, and have been for the past 4 months now, and i hit the 180km/hr speed cut all the time, that's a myth and I have seen it not work with my own two eyes.

to the original thread poster, jump onto www.clubaristo.net and join up, say hi, and then do some searching, there's lots of people on there that have delimited the GTE

yea i dont feel like pulling the trac fuse, i dont even have traction control in the first place, not sure if that matter or not, but i rather keep my ABS.

I have the SaRD RunUp speed delimiter installed for the past several years. I have done 170mph or more on many dyno runs.

I no longer need it since the car is drift only. I'm also going to be doing some other electronics soon that will take over that duty anyway.

I have the manual for it and all.. PM me for info, but I'll take $100.00 shipped for it.
