hello, im pretty new just bought my 94 gs300 after i sold my bike. bought it pretty cheap cause the owner said it had a valve cover gasket leak. anyways got that fix and im already looking to my gs look nice! i seen some "VIP" bodykits and they do look nice only if the gs is dumped and i cant be riding like that in oklahoma, so heres my noob question is there a oem lip kit out there for my gs? really looking for that oem look. and what is a good setup on suspension? springs and shocks. and my last question has anyone every tried putting another vechile lip on a 1st gen GS? cause i think my friend said he put a 00 civic lip on his 02 IS300 and after i saw it, it was a good fitment. just my questions thanks.

for the front bumper lip,please use the search feature.if you have a jdm bumper,you have multiple choices of styles.if not,theres only one style.kinda looks like the "Mugen" lips for civic's and *****.

 

thanks, i will post pictures when i get home. do you happen to know the website for the lip? and also one more questions i tried looking ebay for aftermartket strutbars and H braces do they not make them for the 1st gen GS?

like BigJz said, there is only the one usdm lip kit, and i don't have the link either. there are plenty of jdm lip kits, but you would need the jdm front bumper.

springs and shocks, pssh. there have been countless threads on which is better, bouncier, stiffer, is it better to just get coilovers, cut the springs? its really up to you and if you say you can't slam it in OK, i live in NJ and our state is one big pothole. i have tanabe springs and kyb struts, not slammed but work just fine for me i'm sure others will council you on coilovers though (absolutely no cut springs!)

as to other lips, i know members on here Elite GS and Rising_Sun had i believe it was an SC430 lip molded to their stock USDM bumper, but i'm not positive, so PM them if you're interested.

^^^ what he said about the sc430 lip fitted to the usdm bumper. Theres one lip I know of made for the usdm bumper but in all the pictures I've seen, the fitment looks eehhhhhh.




You can find a jdm bumper on ebay, or elsewhere and you have more options.

Forget the add-on lip, go with the JDM front bumper, IMO, it looks really clean.

to the best of my knowledge, no, you don't need the JDM crash bar, undo 11 bolts, take the bumper off, put the JDM one on

 

yes,thats a jdm bumper.but it doesnt have those chrome grills and LED fog lights.

i believe a member is selling 2 jdm bumpers in the classifieds.

 

and yeh,id rather go with just a jdm bumper instead of the usdm bumper with a lip.because the front will hang way lower than the sides.
and the bottom of the jdm bumpers are straight unlike the usdm ones where they come up towards the front.
