Default having some weird problems with my car

i was driving home from school today and i was slowing down as i came to some traffic and my deck shut off and my cluster lights did the same and came back on. then up the road from my house the car did the same but i could feel the engine shudder. idle just dropped for a sec and came back up. i think i'm having a grounding problem but just looking if anyone else had this problem or any input to the situation. thanks

You're pulling too much power for the alt it sounds like. I had a similar situation solved by a sanding grounds under the hood, HO alt and an optima yellow top battery.

definitly sound like the alternator...i had the same thing happen to mine.. my alternator was shot and it killed my battery... not to mention my cd changer was drawing power as well... i still dont know how to fix the cd changer but it stops drawing power if i take the catridge out..
