Default Lights

I was thinking about getting some new light bulbs. Because when I'm driving at night my lights aren't as bright as the other lexus's. And my fog lights aren't yellow?

If I bought new light bulbs from Sylvania will it give it that HID look for $40. Or should I buy the HID kit (which would take me months to get $160 for)? If I get yellow light bulbs for the fog lights will it look like JDM?

What kind off bulbs do our cars use? Please repost. I know nothing, and I've tried looking on google.

Thanks.

PS- I want my car to look like this...

your gonna need HIDS for headlights and fogs if you want that look.

9006 bulb size for headlights, try 8000k if you want that color.

i think foglights are H3 but not exactly sure. and 3000k for the yellow

Thanks. It's gonna take me forever to get the money to get HIDs, that's why I thought about just changing the bulbs. I also have a 1994 Lexus GS300, with big plans and no money. Sucks...

just go onto ebay and get some kits, they're around 100 shipped per kit, don't waste your money on colored bulbs for hte fogs and ****.

you don't NEED the fogs right now, so just get a kit for the low beams, since you said yours aren't that bright.

i'm working on getting a HID kit discount as part of the membership on clubaristo.net
in a bit of time the VIP members of the site will have access to the discounts of that, might be worth waiting for.

take a gander on ebay tho fogs are H3, and low beams are 9006 i do believe

Doubt. And if I could have picked I wouldn't be driving a Lexus. And when it comes time to repair I will be in my garage. I know some people.

i have the Sylvania premium bulbs for lows and highs, they are worth the money, its nowhere as bright or good looking as the HIDs, but they are much better than the stock bulbs, and alot cheaper than the HIDs, they are a great temporary solution, but make sure you get the nicer bulbs, not the standard replacement ones, theyre a little bit more but its worth it
