Unhappy i need a tranny!!!

well, I was at a stop light and the light turned green, and could not move...
so i pushed it by myself into a near by parking lot, just prior to that, I did notice a weird noise coming from the trans area, and it was slipping a little bit, i checked the fluid it was pretty bad, but the level was good, i let it sit there over night, tried it again today, still no go go, i even reved it up and still no go go, so, what do you guys think? new tranny time?

so i was thinking earlier......I have heard of tranny's going out, and usally it is like the forward gears or something like that.............could it be something like the fluid not being pumped through the system? what abut the torque converter what does that do anyway?

someone please let me know

Do you have the 5 speed auto or 4 speed auto? The earlier GS300 (93-94) had a 4 speed auto that never had any problems later 1996-1997 had 5 speed auto that I have heard to fail but i am not sure was 1995 4 speed or 5 speed auto. How many miles on a car????

Yeah I got 226K miles on mine and it is running smooth but I drain and fill tranny fluid like every 10K miles with Toyota T-IV fluid.
