Starter Problem and Location?
I have a 1993 Lexus Gs300 and i have a problem starting my car. At first the terminals on the battery were bad so i had to replace them with new ones. When i try to start my engine, it makes a single click. All my electronics work fine and its a new battery. Can anyone tell me the location of the starter with pictures if you could? Thanks.

it is on the driver side and is easier to get to from underneath if you use a really long extension for the top bolt, it isnt that bad, unless it doesnt want to break loose, but the long extension helps alot!!!

Like big dogg said. Its under the intake mani and you'll want to remove it from the underside of the car. The bottom bolt you'll be able to get to just fine but the upper one is hidden. You will need about 3 extensions and a universal socket to get it. You'll have to go up and over the bell housing with the extensions and feel around for the bolt head. Its not the most obvious strategy but its the easiest. The only hard part is holding the starter in place with one hand while trying to get the bolt back in with the other, referring to the bottom one which you'll want to put back in first when installing the new starter.
