Default How do I know when to replace my brake lines?

The title says it all.

my brake system feels like its lagging. when i press on the brakes, it has this delay where it doesnt brake until i press it really hard(pressing all the way down). Its really annoying. the brake pads are practically new. The disks doesnt feel warped. whats wrong?

Also check to see if the vacume line to the brake booster does not have a crack or anything or it might be a problem with the master cylinder

check your lines and bleed the brakes, if the rubber hoses look cracked and tired..replace em (SS lines are cheeep ) ..

Also check your calipers-maybe one is sticking?or a pad is sticking?- easiest way to tell is if the brake pads on one side are significantly more worn the the other .

i got my car checked out and they said my brake fluid was dark like motor oil and there is a giant bubble in the line. I was told that i must do a complete flush. Since i havent replaced my lines, might as well.

my questions are....which and where can i get SS lines? any recommendations? Also, what is the best brake fluid i should get? anyone can like me?
