Dont take this the wrong way, but do you keep posting in the pacific section on purpose? I just noticed your location says michigan and I've seen you make a few post in here that seem like you never noticed, that and the fact you made 2 of these exact same topics. Im at 176,000 and I took a trip from Seattle to Newport, OR and it was fine....dirty, but comfortable
My bad man, maybe I made a mistake but I swore I was in the pacific section when I first saw this thread, and the other one maybe it was moved.
And just for kicks....YOU CAN DO ITTTTTTT

I figured the gs folder was for gs' period I didn't kno this 1 was just pacific but I forget many of you are in cali and when I tried 2 post it the first time a blank white page came up and said page not found? But this question is universal! Nyc and toronto were just examples! Even tho I do plan 2 go there!

You'll be suprise that the GS are very reliable for long trip. I took my back then 93 GS300 for a long distance trip for the first time when I drove from Southern California to Alburque New Mexico to pick up my Supra. I don't know if it was going to make there without any problem because it was pretty much the first time I ever drive that far on any car. What make it more skeptical was that my GS have approximately 155K miles at the time. Anyhow, it was the last minute thing where I have to drive instead of flying so I took my GS accross country. I drove 13 hours in mid August with about 110 degrees at midnight going uphill across Arizona with the air condition on. Believe me, I know it was 110 degrees because I have never witnessed the outside temperature button with more than 2 digits so when I saw 3 digits, I thought it was an error. Anyhow, to make the story short, I drove there and back without any problem. That's one of the reason why I end up back in the 1st Gen GS after giving my 93 GS300 to my younger brother and now I'm back with a 95 GS300. And by the way, the 95 GS is my daily driver. It currently have about 143K miles on the odo and I have nothing to say bad about it. I got it since July of 2007 and all I did to it was a new battery. The rest of the money I spent on it was to make it look nicer
Here is a picture of my current 95 GS300

I drove mine from South Carolina to Southern California about a week ago...as long as you dont get caught in 3 feet of snow in Flagstaff AZ you should be fine
