Default Getting rid of boost cut on GTE motor?

Ok i cant find a definite answer. im really sick of this boost cut, and i need to know how to get rid of it. i know about all the different boost cut and fuel cut devices out there, but i dont know which one has been tested and 100% works for our engine and car.

The only one i was sure worked was the one from Beyond Ambient Racing. and they sadly arent open or arent selling anymore. so now im stuck.

Also ive heard some units intercept the map voltage and others change it, so one is good versus the other...im not entirely sure.

So you GTE guys out there, what are you using to get past boost cut?

oh and i also heard an FCD is better to use then a bcc? not sure if this is true or not

Edit: Never mind i forgot i had an account on there, i just hit him up. thanks Slain!

BCC and FCD do the same thing, so whatever you use, doesn't matter.

you might also be able to pick up a Sard, mines or blitz tuned ECU for a few hundred, takes your speed cut off, and increases the rev limiter.

the Greddy one does work, it's just not plug and play

I use the GReddy unit. Its a four wire hookup. Easy peasy. I replaced a Blitz boost cut because I liked the adjustability of the GReddy unit. It wouldn't be a big deal on a MAF car like the late Supras, but for a MAP car I wanted the ECU to get as much 'real' information as possible. Got mine for $60 from a member here.

PS- I still have the Blitz unit. If you want it, send me a PM.

hmm so deknick what else would the tuned ecus do besides that? because i already dont have a top speed limit. would it just increase the rev limiter? would it be worth it?

and aaronstaub you have a blitz bcc? or blitz tuned ecu?

that's mainly it, it makes the rev limiter increase causing the shifts to be more extreme.

it's hard to say tho, cause every unit can be different, and i'm sure you have a speed limit, are you using a JDM aristo TT ECU right now?

I've got a spare Blitz BCC. Its essentially a voltage clamp for the MAP sensor. It has a 12V power signal, ground, and a MAP in and MAP out connection. It will clamp the indicated boost pressure to about 0.81~0.82 kg/cm2.

why not just buy a upgraded ecu like the one i have for sale... (sard one) which gets rid of fuel cut, speed cut, mapped for more boost (maxes stock injectors).

You could also get the BCC like they said above.

i believe someone has a Greddy unit for sale in the 2GS classifieds but dont quote me on that, it may have been sold already. I believe it was a couple hundred bucks.
