Default Stock Exhaust w/o Resonator?

I wanted to have my car sound a little bit better, someone told me to take off the resonator. i was wondering have anyone on here tried it? also how did it sound? i checked on youtube, but only 1 car actually did it and it wasn't that long, so can anyone give me any info on it. thanks.

Taking off the resonator wouldnt do much, since the Cat and the dual mufflers also cancel noise, Get new mufflers or bigger piping. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auld8...eature=related

That gs has 2.25 inch pipin with SPW mufflers

oh and if you want it to sound more beefy, get a intake.in those vids i had an intake so most of the sound is from the engine.

i did the same as 1BIGJZS147 did with his exhaust but it wasn't enough for me so i took it a step further and took out some of the baffling in the stock mufflers and now it really sounds nice. not raspy at all up top, but has a nice deep tone down low.

it was a little of a pain to do but i think it was well worth it when done, seens how it cost me $0.00

can someone let me know if the GS's have a cat converter on the downpipe, then a cat under the car, then 2 resenators/premufflers, and 2 mufflers just like the aristo?

i took out the resonators, when i put my SS exhaust on, however, I kept the stock mufflers for winter time and what not... With the stockers on it's a TOUCH louder but you wont hear it inside the car.... You really don't hear a diff....

yes, if you take off the 2nd cat, and the pre mufflers, you'll notice it, why not just stick on a/m cannons? if all your after is noise?
