Hi, I am new and have been reading through the posts, but have not come across anything regarding my question. I was just wondering if there is a difference between the exhaust for the 1st gen and 2nd gen GS300. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

exhaust tips are offset towards inside on first gen and outside for second gen, hangers a little different and piping

So , if I buy a bolt on kit from a friend...do you think I will need to do any welding?

i got the 2nd gen hks hi power exhaust on mine. ill post a pic of how it looks under. i didnt do the work myself, i had a shop do it.

Absolutly. New hangers, cut and add new bends under the rear lower control arms.
