Cross Drilled / Slotted Rotors...Quick Q???
whattup all?? I'm thinking of changing my brakes and rotors. i am working with a budget, otherwise i'd just buy the top of the line stuff. anyhow, just wondering if anyone has bought the eBay kit:

It's like $330 for everything. Just wondering if anyone has this kit or recommends anything else around this price. honest advice would be great...but seriously, this is the max i'm willing to pay. thanks for your help CL.

If you're planning on using OEM calipers, I would just get blank OE replacement rotors. I've had bad experience with xdilled rotors and xdrilled/slotted rotors aren't going to make much, if any, difference. I've heard a lot of people say xdrilled tend to get more brittle faster and warp quicker due to material being drilled out. Could be wrong but my xdrilled rotors showed up warped, had them machined and reinstalled by Toyota and they were warped a month later....stay away from generic brands when it comes to brakes.
IMO, keep it factory until you decide to upgrade the whole brake system.

I installed some eBay generic cross drilled rotors. Although they look better, the stopping power is not as good. I feel like they fade faster too. If you end up buying them, keep your old ones in case you change your mind.
