Angry please help motor problem need help asap!!!

wutsup guys today i washed my gs and under the hood like a moron and about 20 min later i started it and drove it down the block the thing started missfiring smelling like strong gasoline not being burned i have no check engine light my car is not going no where it has no power, i cleaned out the rotor and cap their was no water in their and no water in the air filter either, then when i touch one of the wires out of the distributor cap i got schocked but in the dark theirs no arcking if someone can help me out and give me some clues it would be muchly appreciated idk if i fouled a plug or jumped timing or what but any help would be appreciated thankyou

wires are bad they need to be replaced. and theirs prob. water in the spark plug wells,.


use a shop vac. to suck it out

HAHAHAHAHA. sorry i had to.

NEVER wash under the hood of a 2jz. ever. you probly got water down the spark plug tube. lol so either take it all down and stuck the water out or get it running and try to keep it running and boil off the water lol.

just give it time lol.

its ok. i did it once. and thats all it takes.

I wash the engines of every car I own routinely. There is no reason you can't engine dress a 2JZ.

1) Aluminum foil to cover connectors
2) heavy coat of degreaser
3) brush dirtiest areas
4) careful rinse
5) let dry
6) silicone dressing on rubber bits

DEFINITELY RINSE CAREFULLY next time lol i think we have all done this. and once you vaccum it out though you can use a narrow air hose tip and blow it all out to help. but it should stop

does intake manifold need to be taken off to take out the wires?

just the first section of it that runs across the engine. its pretty easy. takes me maybe 20 mins with the right tools.
