a gte swap would be nice under the hood and aristo strut bar to top it off. but for $500 maybe you should use the money to do some maintenance on your car if it hasnt been done already. sucks to have a nice car with sounds thats broken

na-t is alot cheaper, but you have to determine if your engine is healthy enough for it. With 500 dollars you could *possibly* make 200rwhp and 240 crank hp. Intake, Exhaust and an SAFC fuel controller.

no, you'd be looking at around 5-6000 in total, i wouldn't know, us Canadians are lucky to not have such lame importing laws.

but if you consider how much it would cost to get an Aristo legallized, the cost of a swap is worth it, considering you can pick up GS300's for around 3 G's or so depending on condition, and you don't need to worry about the engine condition. so it should be easily possible to scoop one up for around 3 to 4 grand. then even if the swap is 8 grand, which it's not (thats how much it costs to sitck a 2JZ into a S13 chasis) your still about 4 grand shy of how much it costs to import and legalize an aristo

save the money for brakes and rotors, the front discs warp very easily!

For $500, you should do the maintenance that has most likely been deferred on the car. Any records on it? If not, I would probably do a timing belt and water pump and/or have the lower balljoints inspected and replace them if needed.

You should just replace all the old parts on your gs so she doesn't break down. (:
