Default Help please...

OK here the problem both of my rear windows don't work.I'm trying to figure out if it the window motors of the regulators. The window on the driver side wont stay up and the window on the passenger side is stuck up. I can hear the motor running in both of them whenever i push window button down or up.So my question is are the motors bad or is it the regulators?? Thanks for the help in advance.

you answered your own question.

think about it, if the motors are working and making noise, is it the motor?
no, it's not, lol

it's the regulator, do you hear a grinding noise or anything? cause chances are the cable snapped in there

Thanks again for answering my question.I just wanted to make sure it was the regulators before i bought them.I don't hear any grinding noise, all i hear is the motor trying to move the windows.

crack the door open, ahve a look, doesn't take long to pop the inside cover off, remove the speaker, and peel the plastic back, and then plug in a switch and see what happens when you push the button. that'll narrow it down

Window stuck up or down or won't stay up = usually the regulator and especially if you can hear the electric motors trying to move the window. When mine broke last year, it made a hell of a bang.
