Which generation GS has the best style
OK guys and gals,
Now that there are 3 generations running around on the streets, I have often thought of which one is styled and looks the best. After much thought this is how I would rank them: Ist place - First gen, Second place- third gen, third place, second gen. The second gen looks frumpy, overweight, and needs the rear spoiler to make the back end look pleasing. The third gen has that fast back look, lean and taut - but I'm afraid in a few years, the look might become dated. The 1st gen is the only one who's lines flow gracefully from end to end. It looks classy after all these years, and really has not aged much. After all this was the only lexus that was not styled by lexus ( the Italians know how to style cars) Anyways those are my thoughts. What do you guys think? How would you rank the three gens?

i think the 1st gen looks old and dated. always thought that hence i didnt get one, even though theyre twin turbo imports over here and much easier to get hold of. their headlights are an odd shape and nearly always cloudy (though that can be sorted) and the taillights just have a '90s' look to them.
i have a 2nd gen, i dont think it looks great either, but with the later model taillights and nice clean headlights + de-spoilered, it looks quite modern. not new, but modern.
i rank them:
3rd Gen
2nd Gen
1st Gen
so theyre going in the right direction for my mind!

My intention is not to slam the second or even third gen, I love all three models as if they were my kids. Yes I have a first gen and I always look at it as I walk away in the parking lot. I just feel the famed Italian deigner Giugiaro knows how to style cars. It could be that the first gen is destined to become a classic in 20 years from now. It's true though, beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
