Window trim help!
#2
the only place you could get one thats not damaged is at the dealer, but trust me you wont want it when you hear the price, its $500 LOL...the parts dude said when you get them at junk yards the people who normally take them out take them out incorrectly so if you wanna try and get it that way you could, but you might end up having the same problem, so its either bite the bullet or find a junkyard that knows how to properly take it out.

It covers about 1-1.5 inches at the top of the b-pillar. Yes, you could probably have someone weld it back together, file it down, bondo, re-paint it if you were to take it completely off. Theres multiple ways of fixing it, you just have to figure a way based on your unique situation.
Im still unclear, so it IS literally cracked or is it spread away from the door. A very common problem is the b-pillar cover separates from the track on the inside. If you were to take it off you would see what im talking about (search, theres pictures on here from other members). All you have to do is punch a hole in the cover and the mounting tab on the track and rivet them together, then either have someone bondo/paint it or get black/carbon fiber b-pillar covers.
