Default Yellow Fogs: HID or Halogen?!

so i want to get yellow fogs going on

ok so i see all these halogen bulbs that are tinted yellow...do they hold the yellow or do they just fade to white over time?

or should i just go with yellow HID?

P.S. im gonna do the mod to pop the lens off and take the reflector out.

go H.I.D.'s!!!!!!!!you will not be dissapointed.those tinted halogen bulbs suck because they aren't bright at all.HID's for the win!

with halogens, the bulb doesnt make it shine yellow. You need either a yellow cap like the JDM ones have that can be custom fitted to the USDM fogs, or an actual yellow lense which can be accomplished with clear yellow Tamiya hobby paint or somewhere online a company sells yellow stick-on films that cover the lense. Other then that, you'll need HID for a real yellow look, but a yellow bulb alone will not look yellow enough.

ok so if i get 3000K HIDs but i pop out the reflector in the fog lamp lens, will this annoy other drivers? or will the light still shine downwards?

do not take out the reflector cause i have 3000k fogs in my car and they glare on coming traffic with the reflector still in their.

if you remove it it will just make the glare worse.

ps. my fogs are hella brite i can barely tell i have my 12000k headlights on half the time

Why would you remove reflector??? That is illegal. Do not be one of those drivers that are making me blind when I drive I could cut their head off reflector is there for a reason and it should stay there.

what reflector are we talking about? I was talking about taking out the yellow cap from the JDM ones and putting it in the USDM one if thats what you guys were talking about.
