First off, I couldn't use the unlock button on the key to get in the car. I had to put the key in the door and unlock it. Then the car started fine, but I couldn't get it out of Park. I couldn't adjust my seats, the doors wouldn't lock/unlock with the button on the door. Finally after trying it over and over a few times, evrything worked fine. What could it have been? Please help. Thanks!

your brake light switch is probably not working properly behind teh pedal , listen for a click by the shifter when teh brake is pressed.

...buy a new brake light switch...and then install it...

 

Do a search for the Service Manual on here, and go pick up the part. It's not too difficult.

 

SIMPLE: You fix it by replacing BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

 

All I did was ask for a little help and the smart a**es have to respond. Dario, I doubt very seriously that you will be a smart a** in my face...
