Hey everyone
hey was goin on. first lemme say hello to everyone here at CL. i love lexus cars and trucks my favorite one so far is the LS460L maybe one day i can afford it lol. but my second favorite is my GS300 i jus bought this car and i love it. it has a few problems tho. so i was wondering if i can get some advice. my sunroof wont work and my front seats dont move. i kno i have to get a hole new set of seats because my leather is all ripped. are there seats from different models that would fit? and why the hell is it that that i can push my sunroof up??? but i cant get it to move at all with the controls. ive allready learned alot jus by reading through the forums for my radio install. hope u guyz can help me out. ive seen some beautiful cars on CL. i want to make mine one of them.

as to your issues... not sure about the sunroof, but i'm pretty sure there was a thread on replacing our seats with other models. search for it but i think there is no direct replacement.

you can buy the new leather and put it on yourself...its pretty easy, just need a heat gun and hog ring pliers...i got mine off ebay and they fit pretty good. i think i posted a thing on it lol. not a how to just a before and after type thing.
as for your sunroof i would see if there is a junk yard around somewhere that you can pull the headliner down and take the whole assy. of the sunroof out and swap it over to your car. and if you have swap your sunroof glass over too. shouldnt be too hard.

thank u guys im gona get some pix of the car so i can post them. sounds ez enuf for the sunroof. i think we got a heat gun at work. lemme check ebay.

then make sure its the motor or if its a ele problem. find some old crappy 1st gen GS seats and just swap the seat frame over....you gotta do the leather anyways and when you do the seat bottem its pretty much apart from there.
