here's my problem. my AC died a month ago. i recharge myself with new freon. The AC was ice cold when i recharged it. a week later....no more cold air...just room temp air now.
What is the problem? i guessing a leak.

i purchase the freon with dye and put into the car. then i used an UV light to look for any leaks ...only place i found was at the AC compressor. it was between the pulley and the body, a small slit....is this where the o-rings are located? where else should i look

just follow all the line and connections running from and tot he AC comp. and if you can get under your car and find where the AC drain hose is and shine the UV on the drain...doing that will let you know if the leak is inside the evap.
most likely its at connections, anywhere there is a connection, there are O-rings
