Just sand them down and polish. i think there are a few products out their. i used this metallic looking package from advanced Autoparts. it worked great but i wish i would have sanded for longer because i could have taken out the yellowing even more.

I wouldn't do that because if the headlight is too old the heat from the polisher creates stress cracks and next time it turns yellow it wont be easy to clean up and the headlight will end up pretty foggy looking from the side.

I believe that those 'headlight restoration' products are all a sham if you are trying to restore headlights that are too old. The plastic composite for headlights has changed throughout the years and I can see these products aimed at headlights produced from 2000 and onward but not producing the results they say in older vehicles such as our models. not that you won't see a difference if you do it, it will look cleaner, but the headlight can be 'damaged' by the process. As I said, I know by experience and this is just me; not trying to argue or make a point, just speaking from my experience and my point of view...

agree with kidz. the stuff used back in the 90's, plus the age factor - not worth the effort. we work a lot with plastics and today's formulations are pretty amazing.

No polishing gentelman. it is a sanding process that has a Sealer that you apply on to the lenses after you sand for a couple steps. no heat for the polisher. this is the stuff i used
It worked for me but like i said it needed to be sanded more to remove the yellowing of the outer cover. I was just too amazed with the results and applyed the sealer to soon
