Default torque converter

okay so i finally finishing up my auto tranny swap and the i put the tranny back up but i can spin the torque converter while its on to get to all the bolts i tried puttin it on neutral and wont spin basically i dropped my old auto tranny and tc and then i put the new tc on the new auto tranny and everythings up but i can seem to spin the torque converter now can someone help thanks

put what bolts you can in it then use a ratchet to spin the crank

Default tc

okay i put one in the visible one but i cant seem to spin it from the crank i tried putting it on neutral do u spin it clockwise or counter clockwise?

can u spin the torque converter while the tranny not in the car? make sur the torque converter is installed properly on the tranny. If its installed correctly, your fingers should not be able to fit behind the torque converter.

spin it clockwise for sure, in drive i believe. its been so long since ive done it and it was on an altima so i'm not certain what gear

did you seat the torque converter all the way in? You slide it on, spin it side to side, goes in one step. Do it again, it goes in. Basically, 3 steps, but first doesn't count b/c it slides right on.

well thats what im guessin i think i didnt install it right but heres the thing is that the tranny is mounted on like even if i just put it in once and didnt spin it i still got the tranny to mount to the engine wouldnt that mean that the tc would be all the way in? i was thinking maybe i should give the car a start to see if it will spin?
