Default Code 21 and Code 71

My car is throwing these 2 codes. Any more information on these 2 codes and how to fix it?

Thanks.

PS Car is smelling like gas pretty bad at idle in the garage.

21 is main O2 sensor and 71 is EGR malfunction:

My guess is the O2 sensor has more to do with the gas smell. The guys at Dynamic Auto Services told me that 71 is frequently the vacuum modulator, which is about a $60 part.

i actually just did my o2 sensor 5 min ago... EASY!!!! the book says mechanics get 2or 3 hours for it and it took me only 15min
but see if someone can hook it up 2 the scan tool and pinpoint the exact o2 sensor cuz list is 196 unless you have connections... so if you wanna spend $1000 and do all 5 O2's you can or get a buddy in the field then it will cost you only 75+tax
i used a denso(oem) one i will get you the part number 2morrow cuz my box is on my box still

If you change the sensors yourself you might have to clear the code to stop the check engine light

how to remove

-buy some PB from kragens or your auto store
-get a 22mm wrench(i think, someone correct me)
-3 o2 sensor

two are location at the exhaust manifold, other is at the catalysis convertor
spray PB on the o2 sensor to loosen the screws and open it
replace O2 sensor with new ones

than...bam...your done

Code 71...replace the Modulator. Its very common on these cars. Mines just went on and it actually went away after I removed the vacuum line to it and was checking it and the egr valve to see if it was sticking. Im still replacing the Modulator because the code will prolly come back on...the parameters to setr the code are small as hell...like 3rd gear, 5 mins of half throttle, engine warm, etc something like that.
